Intuitive Touch Massage with Love

I make a point of noting happenings in my life that I am grateful for. I am grateful everyday for having dogs in my life, they are my life!
I would like to share a special event that happened to me this past week.
Recently I visited my customers to massage two of the dogs who love my Scoff It! Health food products.

Bella was getting a massage for her wellbeing and happiness and purely because her Mum loves her with all of her heart! My massages are designed to be beneficial health wise but are also a pure joy for the dog as they have 40 mins of pure healing touch from myself.
Toby needed a massage to help heal his broken heart as he had lost his best friend and companion Cilla in January.

I truly love dogs more than life itself and believe I am here to do my utmost to help them live joyous healthy long lives with their beloved owners.
I am still here today alive because of my dogs. I suffered major depression with severe daily suicidal thoughts for well over ten years. If it wasn’t for my dogs particularly my first one Cassie I would not still be here today. She would go and bark at the bedside to tell me to go to bed when I was going to have a severe low episode. I do not how she knew this, but she did.
She would cuddle me in bed and give me such unconditional love that I chose to stay around as could not bear to leave her behind. She purely was all that kept me here.
I promised myself if I made it out of the dark hole I was in then I would live life to the full.
I believe that through my business Scoff It! I can give back to all dogs including my own some form of gratitude to show for what they have done for me in my lifetime so far.
I was born with the love of dogs in my soul and I always have thought they can communicate with me.
This was reinforced that night…….
Bella, a 7 year old Moodle, had her massage and she was an absolute delight. She has been rescued by her Mum Darielle.
Bella would lean into my hand to tell me what parts of her body SHE wanted worked on.
My massages are a little different from the normal my functional therapy treatment at times.
They contain all the usual such as effleurage, which is the basis of every good dog massage, along with other techniques such as petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration.
The difference is that I also incorporate Usui Reiki, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and warm towels as part of my treatment. I also give gum massages if the dog is receptive.
Massaging every dog is different as each dog likes certain techniques and communicates what they need. You cannot really stick to a set procedure, you need to really be able to listen and read what the dog wants and needs.
Little Bella was wonderful and once she figured out what I was doing was so receptive she even had body stretches!
Bella was so deliriously relaxed afterwards she looked like she was spaced out!
It made my heart sing to see her so happy and blissed out! I do know she loves me which makes me so happy!

Toby, a Havanese, had come to see me initially then went and sat with his Mum, Cathy.
He came back at the end of Bellas’ massage and sat on my blankets I had taken there for them.
In the afternoon before I went I got my rose quartz wand and set it with the intention of pure love from Cilla for him.
I continued this intention setting on my way over to the house in the car.
I knew he had a broken heart still as he was so attached to Cilla.
When he came to sit with me I took the rose quartz crystal out and showed him it to see if he was interested and asked his permission.
I whispered in his ear that it was from Cilla and contained her love for him.
I held it against his heart and he pushed down on my hand containing the crystal.
He was instantly so relaxed and laid down with his legs out whilst I stroked him all over with the crystal like it was my hand.
All the time I was using Usui Reiki on him.
He changed to a relaxed and blissed out dog. I almost burst into tears with happiness but held it together for him to have as much benefit as possible.
There was no way I could take the crystal home, it was his and belonged to him, so I gave it to Cathy and when she showed him it he would wag his tail.
When I got into the car on the way home my hands were so hot and I could feel the healing energy. I hoped it would last until I saw my dogs but the power of it had dissipated mostly by the time I got home. I felt very special and like I had a purpose here.
I believe what happened proved that I am here on this Earth and am still alive to help dogs in any way I can.
I am happy to help anyone who has any health problems with their dogs. Of course, the more serious issues will require professional veterinary help.
The basis of my business is to develop a do good wellness empire that enables pet owners to be quite self sufficient with the care of their pets up to a practical point.
Currently a new website is being developed. This will be up and running to replace the old one by the end of the month. This website will contain free health content to help you have the best worry-free life with your pet.
Along with my intuitive touch massage service and Scoff It! food products I am developing other health products. I am very proud of my wonderful edible toothpaste.
My other aims are providing future information sessions you can attend on pet care such as teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, skin care etc. Soon I will be doing live local content so that I can help to answer questions you have on pet care.
Please feel free to contact me.
On an after note I did have a very weird experience afterwards. On Wednesday I woke with a weird sensation of being unsettled without being able to put my finger on it. By Thursday morning I realised I was feeling like I had a broken heart and honestly found it hard to function.
On Friday afternoon it finally hit me what was going on. I do honestly believe I took on Tobys’ broken heart feelings as had absolutely no reason to feel this way at all. Once I realised this I asked to be released from these and for them to go and on Saturday morning I woke and no longer had these feelings. I do hope Toby did not get these feelings back and is happier in himself again.
Thank you for reading about this!
Up until now most of us have been throwing out our free range egg shells. Not any more! Once you read this blog you will be collecting egg shells from now on. They are beneficial for both you and your pet!
Egg shells contain 27 elements as well as calcium, magnesium, potassium, silicon and phosphorus.
The calcium in egg shells is more readily absorbed as it is of a very similar composition to teeth and bones.
If you eat free range eggs please keep the egg shells. Rinse them thoroughly then microwave them for a minute. Do not remove the membrane as this contains collagen, chondroiton Sulfate and Glucosamine.
Crush up the dry egg shell into a fine powder.
Both you and your pet can benefit from this rich source of calcium.
Add up to a teaspoon daily of the egg shell powder to your dogs meal.
Several of the Scoff It! products contain free range egg shells particularly the Scrummy Scoffs.

From the time you get your dog whether it is a rescue dog or a puppy you should dedicate time each day or at least time every second day to cleaning your dog’s teeth and teaching them to be accepting of this.
It starts with teaching your dog that a dental examination is part of life with you and this can be a lifesaving technique to learn.
Teach your dog to let you look at all of their teeth, under their tongue, in the back of the throat by the tonsils and in the pockets under your dog’s lips.
Not only will you be able to monitor and ensure dental health, this examination will also allow early detection of growths, possibly malignant, and help discover possible ticks.
Current dental health issues with our pets are escalating and dental health can adversely impact on your pets’ overall health. Rotten, dirty and decaying teeth can cause heart disease and infections in our pets’ organs which will shorten our pets’ lifetimes and cause them pain and distress.
Undertaking preventative care and regular teeth cleaning may eliminate the need for your pet to go under a general anaesthetic for dental care. It is wise to limit general anaesthetics to only if absolutely necessary.
Points to look for when examining your dog’s mouth and teeth:
Healthy dogs do not have bad breath or mouth odour.
Odours can result from infected teeth or gums, trapped foreign material, food allergies, digestive issues, kidney disease, diabetes or even mouth tumours.
Healthy gums are pink and smooth any sign of redness or swelling indicates an issue that will require veterinarian care.
Our pets should enjoy chewing so any pain or difficulty indicates problems. Watch your dog to see if there is an evidence of this such as only using one side to chew.
Your dogs teeth should be white or slightly yellow depending on age of your dog. Healthy mouths do not have plaque build ups or heavy tartar build up. If this is the case please consult your veterinarian.
Please go and see your veterinarian.
MOUTH MASSAGE FOR YOUR PET
Most dogs enjoy a mouth massage or you can certainly teach them to be accepting of it.
Start with a mouth massage externally, use light to moderate pressure to make circular motions around your dogs, jaw, lips and cheeks.
If your dog is comfortable with this get a small amount virgin organic coconut oil or Scoff It! Edible toothpaste and rub your dog’s gums gently with your fingers. This is great for improving mouth circulation and increasing strength of the gum tissue.
Teeth cleaning
When you clean your dogs teeth experiment with what applicators they may accept in their mouth.
You can use finger brushes, toothbrush, new gauze or new strips of chux cloth wrapped around your finger.
Wet the applicator then rub in the Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste and clean you dogs teeth everywhere they will let you. Use circular motions from away from the gum line to the outer edges of your dogs teeth. Scoff It! edible toothpaste is very delicious to dogs so let them lick some from your finger afterwards as a reward for being so well behaved.
Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste needs to be kept refrigerated and used direct from the refrigerator.
One of the biggest issues is that dental disease has increased in line with the increase in dogs being fed nothing but dry pellets such as kibble. Owners trust the kibble to clean the dogs teeth which provides a false sense of providing dental care.
Kibble is not a natural tooth cleaning alternative. In fact, it gets stuck in and around teeth and can impact on dental health.
Dry kibble can be trapped in between teeth and cause dental issues and possible dental decay.
Dry kibble has the potential to make your pet dehydrated and changes saliva quantity in the mouth and can affect the pH of saliva to enable tartar build up and associated dental issues.
There are many safe forms of natural teeth cleaners as long as your pet is supervised whilst eating them.

RAW CARROTS
Raw carrots (preferably organic if possible)
I prefer raw carrots that are preferably organic but I still peel them.
I still supervise my dogs whilst they are eating carrots.
SCOFF IT! SCRUMMY SCOFFS!
Scrummy Scoffs are designed to be a healthy wholesome meal or treat and contain most of my edible toothpaste ingredients as well.
SCOFF IT! EDIBLE TOOTHPASTE
Developed to be totally edible and able to be used daily and given as a “lickable” treat at the end of your pets’ teeth cleaning and gum care routine.
SPECIALLY DESIGNED CHEW TOYS
Some specially designed chew toys are suitable but once they are chewed so pieces are coming off or likely to come off please dispose of them and purchase a new one.
Chew toys can be a bit hit and miss. Some will break down dangerously after a few minutes. Please supervise your pet at all times.

NATURAL HOME PREPARED DIETS
Home prepared diets with portions of raw and cooked human grade food types are beneficial. They do not dehydrate your pet and provide more readily bio-available nutrients. All food you prepare for you pet should be of 100% human consumption quality.
My own dogs’ never have kibble only Scoff It! food products, carrots, toys and regular teeth cleaning.
FOOD PRODUCTS TO BE WARY OF THAT ARE PROMOTED AS TEETH CLEANERS:
CHICKEN NECKS OR CHICKEN WINGS
It is rare but they can become lodged in a dogs throat and even cause death. Please be very wary if you dog is a swallower and/or frantic eater. Always supervise your pet whilst having these foods.
RAW HIDE CHEWS
Raw hide chews: are highly dangerous please watch the youtube video below
How they make Raw hide https://youtu.be/Oc265q0ZRss
RAW OR COOKED BONES
Raw or cooked Bones: In England, vets are trying to discourage using bones as these can pierce dogs stomachs and cause deaths.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/17/give-the-dog-a-bone-vets-warn-pet-owners-not-to-do-it/
DENTAL STICK OR GREEN BONE PRODUCTS
These products are carbohydrate laden so they have the same impact as kibble by causing build up around teeth rather than being beneficial as teeth cleaners.
STORE BOUGHT PET TOOTHPASTES
Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste was developed as the store bought brands are chemical laden and are not suitable for human consumption. Whereas Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste is 100% natural and is made of 100% Human grade ingredients.
Storage: Please keep in the fridge, it will last 8 months. However I do hope you have used it all well before then please!!
HOW TO USE SCOFF IT! EDIBLE TOOTHPASTE
Options for application of Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste:
Dog toothbrush or finger brush
Gauze rolls (chemist warehouse) or a new chux cloth cut into strips and wound around the finger.
Wet the gauze, chux or brush and rub in the toothpaste to coat the applicator.
Clean your pets’ teeth once daily or at least every second day, make it a routine so your pet gets used to it.
Aim to get the back teeth and inside of the front teeth as well.
Take time to build up to this if your pet is not familiar with having their teeth cleaned.
Do a little at time and praise your pet very highly.
It takes around two months of regular brushing and you will see an improvement.
I rinse and store my applicators in the fridge too to keep them fresh.
Give some of the Scoff It! Edible Toothpaste to lick off your finger as a bit of a treat afterwards as it is 100% safe and edible.
Also please rub their gums at the end of a teeth cleaning session with a tiny amount of virgin organic coconut oil.
Keeping our pets’ teeth maintained in a natural way increases their longevity and overall health and vitality! Making life happier, less worrying and less costly for us as well!

This is the charity all my customers have been helping Scoff It! support through their purchases.
Best Friends Rescue is a highly active non-profit registered charity that has a 100% No-Kill policy.
They save and rehome abandoned and unwanted dogs of all sizes in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and other surrounding areas.
They have a great Facebook page called Best Friends Animal Community which has great posts and is very proactive in advertising dogs requiring homes.
I would recommend following their page please and helping them out by sharing posts of dogs requiring new homes with friends you know who may be interested or can help.
There is no animal shelter and all of the animals are placed with foster families and the organisation is run on a volunteer basis only.
The charity runs very successfully thanks to the dedication of the foster carers, volunteers and donations by supporters.
The animals are saved from death row in Council pounds or have been surrendered to Best Friends Rescue.
You can apply to be a foster carer, there is an application form with lots of FAQ’s to help.
If you are interested in adopting all adoptions include microchipping, de-sexing if necessary, C5 Vaccinations, worming and being Heart worm tested.

Hannah and Graeme are the owners of the delightful Mumford.
We can see why they are patiently waiting for a girl puppy of the same breed.
Mumford really loves Scoff It! and does a dinner dance for his Chicken Vitality Stew which is wonderful to watch.
Thank you both of you for sharing this video. 🙂
Enjoy watching everyone.
